Mission Bay Park
If you want to add something different to your beach trip, a visit to Mission Bay Park may be in order.
Becuase this are is just across the street from Mission Beach and Belmont Park, you can easily walk from one to the other within a few minutes.
The space is great for games of soccer, football, frisbee, and really anything else you can think of. It's pretty common to see families hanging around the park enjoying the space.
You still get the beachy atmosphere and all of the vibes of Mission Beach, you're just off the sand.
As an added bonus, Mission Bay Park is pretty much right in the middle of Mission Beach, putting restaurants within walking distance.
