The Ocean Beach Pier Cafe: Walk on Water

If you're strolling down the Ocean Beach Pier, you have the option of stopping for a meal at its Walk on Water Cafe.

The Feel

The Ocean Beach Pier's W.O.W. is a small, simple establishment.

Orders can be made inside the restaurant or to go, whichever you prefer.

If you choose to dine in house, you seat yourself, the servers are friendly, there are fresh flowers on every table, and the view is spectacular.

The Food

The downside to its simplicity is the limited menu, and the less than five-star quality meals.

Nonetheless, I enjoy myself here. The gorgeous view of the ocean and shoreline are hard to beat.

Highlights

In my opinion, the best part of the Ocean Beach Pier Cafe is the close proximity to the tide pools. You literally walk down the stairs of the pier and the beginning of the tide pools are at your feet.
